Madison Park Development Corporation celebrates the completion of 2451 Washington Street & Haynes House Restoration

Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) and our partners are excited to host a dual virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony for 2451 Washington Street, 16 new homeownership opportunities, and the completion of the renovation of 131 apartments at The Haynes House. On Zoom, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will occur at 4:30 pm on Friday, October 1, 2021. In addition to project partners, Mayor Kim Janey and local elected officials will offer remarks regarding the two projects and assist with the interactive virtual ribbon-cutting.

In The Bay State Banner: Hibernian Hall returns to in-person performance with ‘Smoked Oysters’

Hibernian Hall in Nubian Square is once again producing in-person performances, reopening its theatrical doors for the first time since 2019 with “Smoked Oysters” by Hibernian Hall’s 2021/22 Playwright-in-Residence Mary McCullough. The powerful rumination on a Black family is as timely as it was during its January 2020 debut at Greater Egleston High School.

In the Bay State Banner: Mobile mural marks MPDC 55th anniversary

As part of their 55th anniversary celebration, Madison Park Development Corporation has organized a mobile mural in Nubian Square, created by local artists and a cohort of six youth participants. The mural, “A Love Letter to Roxbury,” celebrates the neighborhood’s history and MPDC’s commitment to the community.
