On WCVB: Roxbury Cultural District to host inaugural Community Arts and Cultural Convening

The Roxbury Cultural District (RCD) is painting an aspirational portrait of the future for Roxbury artists, based on their input. On October 3, 2024, the RCD will host its inaugural Community Arts and Cultural Convening at Hibernian Hall. The Community Arts and Cultural Convening is an opportunity to strengthen connections within the cultural community. The RCD board will present and gather feedback from community-based artists and residents on ways to amplify the district’s cultural assets.

This FREE event will run from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and is open to the public. Refreshments from Nubian Markets, Roxbury’s only market, café and gathering space, will be served.
