TRADITIONAL TREAT There’s nothing scary about some beautiful music. Each year, the Boston Symphony Orchestra presents free live performances at Boston-area venues. This week, the Community Chamber Concerts series pops up at Hibernian Hall in Roxbury, where six musicians will play an hourlong set featuring three unique works. Among the selections is “Mitos,” by Latina composer Gabriela Lena Frank, who was one of the co-curators of the 2023 Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music. Nov. 3, 3-4 p.m. Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley St. #200. bso.org
