On April 19th, 2023, Bay State Banner reported that community members and officials gathered on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, to celebrate “major milestones in the redevelopment of the Flat 9 at Whittier complex.” Flat 9 at Whittier is a collaboration property between the Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), the Boston Housing Authority, the City of Boston, and Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC). Mayor Michelle Wu and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley were also present at the event.
