“Mélange”, from the French word for mixture or medley, is a cultural celebration which has been hosted by LiteWork Events since 2017.
This year, they are bringing the experience all together into one evening, as a single “Diaspora Dinner Party”. The event will consist of ethnic foods from various minority-owned restaurants, in addition to Afro Caribbean and Hip Hop sounds provided by DJ Prince.
From the Caribbean to West Africa, “Mélange Boston: The Diaspora Dinner Party” dives into the many cultures represented across the African Diaspora, which are also widely represented in Boston. In addition to showcasing ethnic cuisine sold locally, they will also feature presentations from local artists and fashion designers, as well as Black vendors.
