Hibernian Hall Summer Book Contest

Let your creativity shine this summer by sharing your unique stories with us! Choose one of the following questions and write an essay for a chance to be published in our upcoming anthology, earning you author credit for your work. Winners will also be notified via email.
Essay Questions:
Option 1: Personal Achievement: Describe a goal you overcame. How did you achieve it, and who inspired or helped you along the way? What did you learn from your experience?
Option 2: Cultural Celebration: Share a story about a special tradition or celebration in your culture. What makes it meaningful to you and your loved ones?
Submission Guidelines:
- Age Group: Open to applicants between ages 6-17
- Deadline: Submit your essay by Friday, August 30, 2024, at 7 PM.
- Length: Essays should be between 100-125 words.
- Originality: All entries must be original works that have not been published elsewhere, including online platforms or self-published.
- Consent for Promotion: By entering the contest, participants agree that their stories may be used in promotional materials for the contest and Hibernian Hall events without compensation.
