The Summer Movement Series is a FREE movement series hosted on Monday and Wednesday July 12 – August 11, 2021 for adults and youth with both in-person and virtual options.

The VLA DANCE/Hibernian Hall Summer Movement Series adult program features Master Class Monday hosting a range of dance classes from Afro-Cuban Folklore (Yoruba) / Orisha Dance Technique to Ballet. Workshop Wednesday features contemporary dance classes exploring VLA DANCE movement philosophies. On both Mondays and Wednesdays we are offering Yoga for movers of all experiences.

Teaching artists include: Victoria L. Awkward, Ashlie Bermudez, Shawn Exilus, Nadia Issa, Ashton Lites, Key’Aira Lockett, Sarah Pacheco, Sasha Peterson, My’kal Stromile, and Makeda Wallace!
